Youth Forum Switzerland 2021 – Racism & Justice – Panel Speaker

I will be one of a panel of speakers at the Youth Forum Switzerland 2021 to discuss racism in the international school context.
The live-streamed panel is organised by students of International School of Zug and Luzern. It will also feature Hayley Headley (former UWC student and member of Critical Engagement diversity, equity and inclusion initiative) and student speakers Alistair Mackay and Michaela J as well as co-founder of the Organisation to Decolonise International Schools (ODIS), Xoài David.
We will be discussing issues of overt and covert racism with a focus on how instances of microagression sustains systemic racism in the international school context.

About Youth Forum Switzerland
Youth Forum Switzerland (YFS) is the creation of a group of globally engaged high school students at the International School of Zug and Luzern.
Students who had attended the World Economic Forum’s Open Forum Davos event in January 2017 found the experience transformative and were inspired to organize an event in the same spirit. YFS aims to give youth a voice in issues that will impact their future. Today the YFS Team has grown to over 75 students who work together to curate YFS.
