Uru Stories is a collection of stories from the Majority World written by, about and for those who grow up cross-culturally. Pradeep Rajendran and I are co-editors of on this project.

Uru means ‘fat boat’. The name uru comes from the shipbuilding culture of a once legendary maritime hub that connected the ancient civilizations on the Spice Routes.
Uru also means home town, native place, or the place of one’s origin.

We are looking for stories written by MKs (missionary kids) and other TCKs (Third Culture Kids). If you would like to contribute, please visit our page.
